Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, whose past few films ‘Creature 3D’, ‘Mr. X’ and ‘Love Games’ bombed at the box office, says the society is failure phobic.

“I feel it’s okay if your past few films didn’t work. Sometimes, ideas work and sometimes they don’t. I think we are just a failure phobic society. We do everything to make sure we don’t fail, but the only way to not fail is not to make a movie,” Bhatt told IANS.

‘Raaz 3’ most important film of my life: Vikram Bhatt

“I have always tried to do something different. I am trying to give something new to the audience all the time. They might like it or not like it, but you can’t doubt my intentions,” he added.

Why doesn’t Bhatt make films with Bollywood stars?

He said: “I think that time has passed…I am interested in other things. I cannot make my life into one film. There is a lot of stuff that I like to do and the kind of films I make, are not really star specific. I am someone who likes to encourage great concepts.”

His latest directorial ‘Raaz Reboot’ features Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora.
