In a move to help out economically weak JEE aspirants, RISE, a coaching institute for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) offered free JEE coaching to 40 students. RISE took it upon themselves to find students to provide them with the opportunity to pursue quality education. Targeted primarily to the economically weaker section of the society, almost 15,000 students had taken the test in over 8 districts. The drive was carried out this year, across 40 schools across the Kashmir Division of J&K.
“Starting this year, RISE will offer free coaching to 40 talented aspirants of JEE. The course will be conducted by the team of IITians at RISE. We want to ensure that the lack of resources is not a hindrance to any talented student towards achieving his/her dreams,” said Salman Shahid, Co-founder of the RISE.
The chief guest for the event was the Executive President of the J&K Bank who is associating and supporting the initiative, he went on to add that, “the fact that the initiative is being taken by local IIT graduates adds weight and worth, sense and seriousness to the idea.” We are happy that talented students are getting opportunities through such initiatives, we wish all these students best of luck and thank you RISE for helping talented students with this amazing opportunity.
