Panasonic P71 Launched in India: Price, Release Date, Specifications, and More

 

After launching the Eluga Tapplast month, Panasonic has decided to launch yet another smartphone in India, expanding its portfolio in the country. The Panasonic P71 is now available across all major retail outlets in the country, and is priced starting at Rs. 7,490.

The Panasonic P71 supports 4G with Voice over LTE (VoLTE), and comes in two RAM options. The 1GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 7,490 and the 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 8,190. The smartphone is made available in Ivory Gold and Dim Grey Black colour options.

The last smartphone to launch in the P series was the Panasonic P77 in September, priced at Rs. 6,990. The significant change in the Panasonic P71 is a 16GB of inbuilt storage, a bump from the 8GB seen on the P77. As for other specifications, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB/ 2GB RAM. As mentioned, the Panasonic P71 offers 16GB of storage with the option to expand further via microSD (up to 32GB).
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports a dual-SIM slot. As for the optics, the Panasonic P71 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery that supports optimised power management software that ensures the best possible use of the battery to keep the lights on a little bit longer.

The Panasonic P71 measures 143x71x8.15mm, and weighs 138 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS support.
