Intex Cloud Breeze With 5-Inch Display Launched at Rs. 3,999

Intex on Thursday launched a new budget smartphone for the Indian market dubbed Cloud Breeze. The handset is priced at Rs. 3,999 and is already available to buy exclusively from Snapdeal, an e-commerce website. It is also listed on the company website.

The Intex Cloud Breeze is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs the old Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution TN display with Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor clocked at 1.2GHz and clubbed with 1GB DDR2 RAM.

In the optics departments, the Intex Cloud Breeze sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 32GB). Users would get 5.8GB storage as the rest will be taken by the OS. Also supported are all the regular connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity. Gravity, light, and proximity sensors are come housed inside the smartphone.

Measuring 145.5×72.8×9.9mm, the Intex Cloud Breeze weighs 153.3 grams (including battery) and is backed by a 2300mAh Li-Po battery, which is rated to deliver talk time of up to 4-6 hours and standby time of up to 20 days. It is available in Black colour only. The company says that the Cloud Breeze smartphone also has 21 regional languages including Hindi. The device comes with some pre-loaded apps as well such as FOTA, Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, NewsHunt, Amazon, Chaatz, and more.
