They will go on sale from summer 2016 and the company is expected to reveal prices at the time of local launch. The phones will come with a range of matching style covers.

All three new Xperia X smartphones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s UI on top and come in single and dual-SIM models. The Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Performance share some similar innards such as a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display for mobile powered X-Reality for mobile engine; a 23-megapixel rear camera with f1/2.3 Exmor RS for mobile sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash; 13-megapixel front camera; 3GB of RAM; 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable storage support up to 200GB via microSD card, and 4G LTE support.

The Sony Xperia X Performace is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor while the Xperia X packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. Sony says that the predictive hybrid autofocus feature in the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance smartphones has been developed in close collaboration with the company’s Alpha camera engineers. The feature lets users choose subject and then predict its motion, so one can capture the action in perfect focus, free from blur.
